Introduction:


Duration

  • Lunchtime games - 13 minute halves
  • Evening games - 14 minute halves
  • DEFAULTS - All teams must give 48 hours (two working days) notice of a default, if less than this, a default fee of $50 will be charged and must be paid in full along with the game fee at the scheduled game time.
Corners
  • All corners are to be taken form the spot.
  • You cannot score directly from a corner unless it touches another player.
  • The defender must have their heels on the line of the goal box until the ball has been played, or two metres from the ball.
Free kicks & dead balls
  • All free kicks are to be taken from where the foul occurred or behind the mark if it’s to be taken quickly, unless it’s within two metres of the goal circle whereby it is to be taken from the penalty spot.
  • The player has 4 seconds to play the ball or will loose it.
  • All defending players must be two meters from the ball until the ball has been played.
  • If it’s been taken from the penalty spot then the defenders must have their heels on the line. 
Headers
  • There are no headers whatsoever regardless of where the ball has been played from. This is to keep players from getting a boot in the head.
Referee interference
  • If the ball strikes the referee or he interferes with the play, the team who had immediate possession retains the ball.
  • The referee can restart the game with a drop ball if there is any dispute.
Goal box
  • No running though the goal box at any stage, this can result in a free kick from the penalty spot or in the act of preventing a scoring opportunity a penalty.
  • If the goalkeeper leaves his box deliberately to prevent a shot on goal or cut down an angle a penalty shall be awarded.
  • For lesser offensives an indirect free kick from the penalty spot may be awarded.
Subs
  • All subs must enter through the gate failure to do so will result in a free kick to the opposition where the ball is.

Foul
  • Once a team has commited FIVE fouls, there will be a penalty give to the opposing team.  Once the tem has a SIX fouls, the player who commits it will spend two minutes in the bin and a penalty is given and so on.  If the referee considers after this stage that the game is too dangerous, the referee may call the game off for safety/displine reasons.

What constitutes a foul?

  1. No tackling from behind.
  2. No hooking around a players legs.
  3. No riding or pushing a player into the wall.
  4. The player in front has the right of way.
  5. No obstruction.
  6. No soles up challenges.
  7. No dangerous tackles.
  8. No slide tackles.
  9. No elbows or raised arms.
  10. A player deliberately running through the goal box.
  11. The keeper coming outside the box deliberately to prevent a shot on goal.
  12. Any player with the ball backing into the defender moving them with the body (at referee’s discretion).
  13. Abusive language towards the referee, or another player

General:

  1. No hand balls.
  2. No hands on the walls while playing the ball or defending. 
  3. No Abusive language towards the referee or another player. 
  4. No high balls. (A high ball is considered anything above the shoulder and or in line with the referee’s eye line). This is at the referee’s discretion.
  5. All mixed games must have a minimum of two females on the court at all times.
  6. Female own goals are worth two.
  7. If a player has the ball between their legs and is not in control of it then the defender can play at it as long as they do not touch the play at all.
  8. The referee can award a penalty at anytime if he deems the player was taken out in the mist of scoring a goal when one on one with the keeper.
  9. The referee can send a player to the bin or put them in goal if they have committed two or more fouls in quick concession and are not listening to the referee’s calls.
